This is mid-weight, tense young Bordeaux varietal, cab-merlot blend with a nose of redcurrant, green herbs, lead pencil and lightly toasty oak. It's just smooth enough to cover the tracks of the under-ripe vintage. Nicely made with a soft, slightly earthy/oak finish.
