Winery Food Recommendation:
Roasted leg of lamb, filet mignon with wild mushrooms and strongly aged cheddar and other hard cheeses.
On the nose are complex, intertwining notes of spice, blackberry and cocoa that will further evolve with cellaring. The palate demonstrates generous berry and black cherry flavours, followed by a subtle cassis fruit and spice on the finish.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

This shows a lift, spicy , peppery blackcurrant nose with a touch of green pepper, earth and tobacco. Its medium weight, a bit sinewy and thin with a spicy palate. This is flavourful if a bit lean a very Niagara rendition of cabernet sauvignon. I would actually chill this a bit before serving than match with highly spiced, savoury dishes.
