Winery Food Recommendation:
Serve chilled as an aperitif or a dessert substitute. This wine cries out for dark chocolate chucks or in fondue form with dried cherries or fresh stawberries and raspberries.

Description
The colour is dark rose with a rich copper note. The nose is intense and exudes notes of strawberry jam, raspberries, cherries with a bit of toast and honey. In the mouth it is smooth and luscious on the touge, sweet on the first impression but well balanced so the acidity refreshes the palate and invites another taste. A long finish suggests strawberries and toffee.

Shows quite mature garnet-salmon colour. The nose is treacly sweet with strawberry jam, flecks of tobacco and burnt sugar. It’s full bodied and very sweet but narrows to a drier, sour acidity in the nick of time on the finish to save it being swamped by sugar. Excellent to outstanding length.
