| 2008 Trius Cabernet Sauvignon |

This is a slim, savoury, quite tasty cabernet with a lifted nose of green herbs, clove and blackcurrant fruit. It’s a bit on the lean side compared to cabs from elsewhere – with firm acidity and tannin. But flavours are true and run to excellent length. Winemaker Daryl Brooker has done well to rescue a tough grape in a tough vintage.
