Awards:
2010 Cuvee Pinot Noir Award
Dark plums, mulberries and wet stone dominated the nose of this earthy pinot noir. On the palette silky tannins help the dark fruit and mineral components move smoothly throughout the month. Tannins and mouth cleansing acidity with stony minerality give this wine a long lasting finish.

Tawse has bottled several single vineyard wines in 2007, very much in keeping with the Burgundian model. This silver medalist in the Canadian Wine Awards is a surprisingly ripe and tasty pinot but it needs another year or two to soften the tannin. The nose is very ripe with raspberry fruit, inlaid with gentle spice, herbs and smoke. It’s medium weight, fleshy and sturdy with firm tannin. Very good to excellent length. Best 2011 to 2015.
