| Description |
| Our 2006 Pinot Noir in this wine has been barrel aged for 18 months then blended with 15% Pinot from the superb 2007 vintage. The result we have called Warren Classic because the wine was developed by our founder Jim Warren to offer the profile associated with a fine Burgundy - cherries, raspberries and spices that resonate and endure on the palate. |

For the money, this has a lot going on. But like so many 2006 reds it’s maturing quickly, with a lifted smoky, meaty and spicy nose amid dried cranberry fruit and mossy notes. It’s medium weight, fairly supple and sweet with intense flavours. Quite substantial, a bit raw and tart on the finish, with excellent length. Now to 2011.
