| 2007 Calamus Red |
| submitted by: David Lawrason |
A cellar worthy, meritage style blend of 45% cabernet franc, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 25% merlot. It’s a deeply coloured hefty red with a rich sweet nose of chocolate, berries, tea and some varnish wood that may settle back in time. It’s quite full bodied, impressive but tannic and rugged for now, so stick it away. Best 2012 to 2015.
