To enjoy now, pair with robust meat dishes such as game or lamb.

Description
Powerfully complex aromas of, plums and the earth fill the glass. A sumptuously textured mouth feel envelopes the rich flavour of dark fruits and ground pepper. The ripe, silky tannins will reward cellaring until 2009 through 2112.

2005 Cabernet Franc Terroir
submitted by: David Lawrason

Winemaker Joe Will has always made somewhat understated, but classic and complex, almost French styled reds (as opposed to New World). This is fairly generous with earthy, tobacco, rhubarb-sour cherry fruit, smoky oak and leather complex indeed. Mid-weight fairly smooth and generous on the mid-palate with dry, warm finish. Very good to excellent length. Drinking well now; should hold beyond 2010.
