From its humble beginnings as a production and bottling facility to its present 40,000 sq. ft. full-service winery and vineyard operation and 14 full-service retail stores across the province, Colio has brought attention and respect to its own backyard, the bountiful VQA region of the "Lake Erie North Shore". Today, the winery boasts over 2.1 million litres of cooperage capacity in both stainless steel and oak and has an annual production of over 200,000 cases. The winery is a fully-equipped, modern facility and has become the focal point of an area in which grape-growing pre-dates all other viticultural regions in the country.
