DELIVERING ON OUR PROMISES
In keeping with our policy of being as fair and honest with our members and customers as possible - we do guarantee the satisfaction of all customers.
We do that in several ways - by ensuring that any instances of faulty wine, unsuitable selections or broken or missing bottles - are resolved promptly and to the customer's complete satisfaction. WineryToHome.com assumes full responsibility for rectifying any such situations regardless of what party may have been responsible. For more details see RETURNS below.
Overall, however, we offer a virtual guarantee of satisfaction to our customers - if they rely upon the reviews and ratings of our experts.
If you receive a wine that you consider to be faulty (off condition, corked, oxidized), within 90 days of its purchase date, please contact our Customer Service Department by email at email@example.com. You may be required to retain the bottle of faulty wine (recorked and at least 3/4 full) for examination by the winery. WineryToHome.com will make arrangements for the order and delivery of replacement bottles either at the time of a subsequent shipment or when our delivery agent is in the area. Please present faulty product to the delivery agent at this time, if required. There will be no additional charge to you for this shipment.
Broken or Missing Bottles
If you receive an order from WineryToHome.com and there are broken or missing bottles, you have 48 hours in which to follow this procedure and make the necessary arrangements to receive replacement bottles at no extra cost. You should e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with the full particulars. You should note the damage and missing and/or broken bottles when shipment is received and have such report initialed by delivery agent. WineryToHome.com will make arrangements to order and deliver replacement bottle(s) - either at the time of a subsequent shipment or when delivery agent is in your area. WineryToHome.com will follow-up with delivery agent and winery as required to ensure claim is handled to your satisfaction. You will be required to save the neck(s) with cork(s) intact of any broken bottle(s), for retrieval by delivery agent at the time of redelivery, if so required by WineryToHome.com or delivery agent.
Most wineries have a policy of accepting back for credit - unopened bottles of wine that were purchased a short time before, as part of a larger quantity purchase. This is done as a matter of goodwill, as wineries want their customers to be happy. As their agent, however, WineryToHome.com cannot guarantee that any bottles that you may wish to return - will be accepted by the winery in question. It becomes a judgment call by a winery - based upon the particular circumstances. In such cases, Winerytohome will do everything in its power to resolve the matter to your satisfaction.
You are therefore advised to select your wines with care and to purchase in quantities that are manageable. Particularly so, where you are unfamiliar with a specific wine of interest. Also, your should carefully peruse the winery-provided and our wine writer reviews for additional perspective about a particular wine.
If you do request an unsuitable product return - you should send all of the particulars to email@example.com. We will then follow-up promptly with the winery and attempt to achieve an early and positive resolution of the matter.
